This page describes how the TonyTutors website works. Your membership scope, fees, and any additional services are agreed directly with Tony before tutoring begins.
Information you provide
The site stores a parent or guardian's name and email, a student's first name and grade, the courses and goals you share, your update preferences, bookings, and messages. Booking locations are visible to your family and Tony, not other families. Please do not submit identification documents, medical information, passwords, or confidential school records.
Accounts and approval
Parent accounts require email verification. Tony separately approves access to the calendar and private messaging after discussing fit. Creating an account does not purchase a membership. Passwords are handled through Supabase authentication; Tony does not receive your password.
Messages and email
Your messages are stored in your private conversation and an email notification is sent to Tony. Tony can respond in the portal or directly by email. A direct email reply is not automatically imported into the portal. Email delivery or an immediate response cannot be guaranteed. This is not an emergency service.
Who processes the information
The application uses Supabase for account services and database storage, Resend for email notifications, and the chosen hosting provider to run the website. Necessary session cookies support sign-in. This application does not include advertising trackers or sell account information.
Your records
Records remain in the system until removed by Tony or an administrator. Provider logs and backups can have separate retention periods. You can request corrections, an account closure, or removal of records by contacting Tony. Pausing membership blocks new portal access and releases future bookings; it does not automatically delete past records.
Scheduling and membership
Published availability is shared across approved families. Reserved windows and travel buffers prevent scheduling conflicts; they are not hourly billing units. Requests outside those windows may be declined. Any extra fee must be agreed before additional service. No card information is collected and no payment or automatic cancellation fee is processed by this website.
Student participation
The service is for high-school students who are open to participating. Students complete their own work. Grades, test scores, or admissions outcomes are not guaranteed. Foreign-language instruction is not offered. Introductory conversations include a parent and the student.
